The Citadel, Public Gardens, and Discovery Centre

The next day we had breakfast at Norbert's which was in the farmer's market on the waterfront.  Pretty pricy, but very tasty.  Under the roof of the market I noticed that there were spikes on the beams to prevent the birds from gathering.

Our first stop of the day was at the Citadel.  There were a lot of things to see in the Citadel complex, but Nina's interest was in the old classroom where she got to write on a slate.

After we left the Citadel we had lunch and then went to the Discovery Centre, which was like the Science Centre.  We were able to get in for free with our Science Centre membership cards!

I was surprised at the amount of time we spent in that place, but then afterwards we went to the public gardens and walked about.  They had a model of the Titanic in one of their pools.  To end our outing at the gardens, we had some ice cream which was hand mixed with sprinkles and other things of our choosing.
