Drive to Advocate Harbour

We left Charlottetown in the morning and took the bridge this time to go to New Brunswick and then back to Nova Scotia.  In PEI one thing that shocked us was that everywhere we went, the lawns were mowed.  Every house had well groomed lawns and even next to the highway the grass was mowed.

Our destination for this day was to get to Advocate Harbour at the edge of the Bay of Fundy.  We stopped to have lunch at Cape Dor, a light house on the coast.  The problem was getting down to the lighthouse from the parking lot.  It was a very steep hike down and back up again.  Silvina had originally thought of staying there.  Good thing we didn't because the hike everyday would have killed us.
