Anne of Green Gables

After lunch we went to visit Green Gables since it was close by.  Silvina had read the book before we came and was telling Nina about it.  At the gift shop Nina wanted the book and started reading it during the rest of the trip.

The house and property were where the author lived at some time.  There is a trail called the haunted woods, and another called lover's lane, which were apparently referenced in the story.

That night we ate at the Water Prince Corner Shop - a place recommended by a colleague.  We didn't have a reservation and had to wait quite a while to get a seat.  The waitress let Nina hold on to one of the lobsters in the tank.  She got a kick out of that!  The food was good too.
